Sigma DP2 is a point-and-shoot digital camera features a 14 megapixel FOVEON X3 direct image sensor (2,652 × 1,768 × 3 layers) as used in the Sigma SD14 digital SLR. Kodak Announces Three New Cameras

Kodak has introduced three new digital cameras with 12 megapixel sensor. The Kodak EasyShare Z950 offers 10X image stabilised optical zoom lens, 3 inch LCD and HD video recording. The other cameras are the M381 and M341 with 5x and 3x zooms, 3″ and 2.7″ LCD screen.

Pentax releases K-7 firmware update version 1.01

Pentax releases firmware version 1.01 for the K-7 dSLR camera. The update improves the general stability for general performance. For example: when left-end focus point is selected, function of auto focus may become unstable in particular shooting condition. In addition, a new function is added [Operate at AF point "SEL"] on the [Custom] menu. When the [2 Select AF point Preference] function is selected and the AF point switching dial is set at [SEL], selection of AF point can be operated priority by the four-way controller…
