Diana F+ lens adaptors for Canon, Nikon DSLRs

Vienna, Austria-based Lomographische AG recently announced two new adaptors that allow use of the rather unusual ‘Diana F+’ series lenses on both film and digital SLRs from Canon and Nikon. Google releases Picasa 3.5

The Picasa team at Google Inc. has released a new version of the company’s popular imaging application that adds a number of new features, including automatic name tagging of photos based on the faces they contain. Picasa version 3.5 (build number 79.67) is available for immediate download from the Google Picasa website for users on the Windows and Mac OS platforms. Production-level test images posted for Panasonic DMC-GF1!

We’ve gotten our hands on a production sample of the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1, and have posted a (nearly) complete set of test photos from it. The constant gray skies and near-Biblical rainfall in the Atlanta area over the last week have kept us from shooting our standard far-field test, and we have yet to do our indoor portrait and low light shots, but we have a full set of all our other test subjects (including plenty of RAW files) shot with a production sample of the new Panasonic GF1.
