New watertight and shock-proof Minox DC 9011 WP

Minox launches the DC 9011 WP, a new 9 megapixel watertight and shock-proof digital camera, and the follow-on to DC 6033 WP. This new 9011 WP is waterproof up to a depth of three meters and repels dust, water, sand and salt. The ergonomic camera with slim dimensions of just 96 x 65 x 25 mm is fitted with a 2.5 inch color monitor. Canon T1i: new firmware available

Canon USA Inc. has released updated firmware for its EOS Rebel T1i digital SLR, known in some markets as the EOS 500D. Available immediately in the USA and globally, the new Canon T1i firmware is said to improve the reliability of live-view shooting. It also corrects some issues with incorrect indications in the English, Arabic and Swedish-language menu screens. Canon issues a raft of software updates

Canon USA Inc. has today issued a wide variety of software updates, both for its digital SLRs and for its compact digital cameras. The precise selection of updates varies by camera model and operating system, but includes the company’s Digital Photo Professional, EOS Utility, WFT Utility, Picture Style Editor and Original Data Security Tools applications. Mamiya introduces the Sekor AF 55mm F2.8 LS D lens. The Sekor LS lens series is designed for use with the 645DF and it incorporates a lens shutter. New Sanyo X1420, X1220 and S122 digital cameras

We haven’t seen any new Sanyo digital cameras lately, as the company seems to have been focusing on the Dual Camera product range. But Sanyo is making up for this, at least in Europe, with the new X1420, X1220 and S122 cameras. The 14 megapixel X1420 is the highlight of the new series with its 3″ LCD monitor and 28 mm wide-angle 4x optical zoom lens. The 12 megapixel X1220 and S122 offer 3x optical zoom and are fitted with a 2.7″ LCD. The cameras will be available in spring for € 149, € 129 and € 99 resp….

Pentax launches the new X90 digital camera. the PENTAX X90.
